The FASS Fuel Systems Extreme Water Separator Filter (XWS3002) offers an upgraded filtration solution with a 2-micron absolute rating. The new design no longer includes a drain, as the filter element effectively traps water for easy maintenance. The XWS3002 filter must be used in conjunction with the PF3001 filter, and it cannot be combined with older filters such as FF-3003/FF-3010 or FS-1001/FS-1020. For installation, the XWS3002 should be placed on the pressure side of the system, while the PF3001 should be installed on the suction side. Refer to the filter location diagram for proper placement.
